Shrimp Hiding

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 35 mins

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces sweet rice
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 -3 drops yellow food coloring
  • 1 lb shrimp, cleaned and shelled
  • green onion
  • 1 teaspoon seafood seasoning

Recipe

  • 1 tremble (soak) sweet rice in coconut milk for one night with food coloring. steam for about 30 minutes. cut shrimp into small pieces and fry in a pan with salt, pepper and seafood seasoning. place sweet rice on a platter in the shape of a circle. place shrimp in center and garnish with green onion.
