Shrimp In Lemon Garlic Sauce

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 4 tablespoons margarine or 4 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon limes or 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon hot pepper, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, finely chopped
  • 2 lbs medium shrimp, shelled and deveined, seasoned with
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 cup dry breadcrumbs, seasoned with
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 sprig parsley
  • lime wedges or lemon wedge

Recipe

  • 1 cream butter with garlic, salt and paprika.
  • 2 add lime or lemon juice, hot pepper, worcestershire sauce and parsley; blend well.
  • 3 place a layer of shrimp in a greased baking dish, then spread some garlic butter and sprinkle some crumbs.
  • 4 repeat layers 3 or 4 times ending with crumbs.
  • 5 bake in a hot oven at 400-425 degrees f. for 15-20 minutes.
  • 6 garnish with parsley and lemon or lime wedges.
