Shrimp In Garlic Sauce

Total Time: 16 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 6 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lb medium shrimp, peeled and deveined, tail on if you like
  • 6 garlic cloves, sliced, can use minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika, can use smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup dry sherry
  • 1 lemon, juice of
  • salt, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Recipe

  • 1 heat the oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat.
  • 2 add the garlic and cook until it begins to brown.
  • 3 add the shrimp, paprika and crushed red pepper flakes.
  • 4 saute 3-5 minutes, until shrimp are almost opaque and add the sherry and lemon juice.
  • 5 continue to saute another minute until shrimp are cooked through.
  • 6 season with salt and garnish with parsley and serve.
