Shrimp Monterey

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine
  • 2 lbs medium shrimp, uncooked, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup wine or 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 cups monterey jack cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, minced

Recipe

  • 1 in a skillet over medium heat, sauté garlic in butter for 1 minute.
  • 2 add shrimp; cook for 4-5 minutes or until pink.
  • 3 using a slotted spoon, transfer shrimp to a greased 11x7x2-inch baking dish; set aside and keep warm.
