Filipino Shrimps Sauteed

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 2 lbs shrimp
  • 2 tablespoons onions
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup mountain dew soda
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1/2 cup tomato
  • 1 tablespoon oil

Recipe

  • 1 put oil in skillet.
  • 2 add crushed cloves garlic and finely diced onion.
  • 3 peel and devein shrimp leaving tails on.
  • 4 add to pan fry.
  • 5 add tomato diced fine.
  • 6 add sugar.
  • 7 add mountain dew or sprite.
  • 8 cook 5 minutes.
  • 9 add cornstarch and water.
  • 10 cook until thick.
