Shrimp With Linguine And Fiery Honey

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup freshly sqeezed lime juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 lime, zest of
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 lb linguine, cooked

Recipe

  • 1 wash the shrimp under cold water, drain, pat dry and transfer to a large bowl. add lime juice and salt, set aside. in a large sauce pan heat on medium and add the oil. cook the shrimp 2 minutes on each side, remove from pan. try to keep the shrimp warm!
  • 2 in the same pan, melt the butter,stir in the honey,chile power,lime zest and pepper. add the cooked linguine and shrimp, mix well and serve hot.
