Nasi Goreng

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 inch fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 tablespoon ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1/4 lb shrimp, peeled

Recipe

  • 1 heat the oil in a wok or large frypan over high heat.
  • 2 add the chicken and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • 3 add the onion, garlic, ginger, coriander and pepper and cook for another 2 minutes.
  • 4 add the remaining ingredients and cook for a few more minutes.
  • 5 serve immediately, with cucumber slices on the side and a fried egg over the top.
