Lemon Chili Shrimp Skewers

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 40 large shrimp, peeled
  • 5 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons limes
  • 1 lime, zest of
  • 1 tablespoon frank's red hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 teaspoons chili flakes
  • 1 teaspoon old bay seasoning
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 combine all ingredients in a glass bowl and marinade for at least 30 mins - the longer the shrimp bathe in the marinade - the better.
  • 2 skewer the shrimp leaving a reasonable amount of space between them for even cooking.
  • 3 preheat your grill -
  • 4 cook on indirect heat for approximately 15 mins turning once . the indirect heat allows you to cook the shrimp longer without drying out.
  • 5 serve.
