Garlic Shrimp With Chilies

Total Time: 10 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 28 large raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons coarsely chopped fresh chili peppers
  • 2 tablespoons coarsely chopped garlic
  • coarse salt

Recipe

  • 1 heat a cast-iron skillet or other heavy pan over high heat until hot.
  • 2 add olive oil.
  • 3 when oil is hot, add shrimp and briefly cook one side.
  • 4 turn, then add chilies, and garlic.
  • 5 season with salt to taste.
  • 6 serve directly in skillet along with crusty bread to soak up the spicy oil.
