Shrimp Butter

Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb boiled shrimp, peeled
  • 1 hard-cooked egg, coarsely chopped
  • 1 (3 ounce) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • assorted cracker

Recipe

  • 1 position knife blade in food processor; add shrimp and remaining ingredients. process until smooth. adjust salt and pepper.
  • 2 line a 2 cup mold or bowl with plastic wrap, allowing wrap to hang over rim at least 2 inches. spoon butter into mold; chill at least 4 hours.
  • 3 invert mold on seving plate. let stand 20-30 minutes. smooth surface with knife if necessary.
  • 4 serve with assorted crackers.
