Phad Thai

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 10
  • 1/2 lb rice noodles
  • 3 tablespoons thai chiles, minced
  • 3 tablespoons garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons fresh ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup fish sauce
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 lb shrimp or 1/2 lb chicken meat or 1/2 lb tofu, diced
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 lb bean sprouts
  • 4 -5 green onions, sliced
  • 1 carrot, shaved with peeler
  • 1/2 cup peanuts, pounded fine
  • 1 lime, sliced

Recipe

  • 1 boil rice noodle for 10 min., drain.
  • 2 fry chili, garlic and ginger in wok.
  • 3 add protein and cook until done.
  • 4 add rice noodles and mix.
  • 5 mix sauce ingredients together, add to wok.
  • 6 slip eggs under simmering sauce and noodles, cook until done.
  • 7 add sprouts and green onions, mix well.
  • 8 garnish with shaved carrots, peanuts and sliced lime.
