Fresh Prawns With Sweet Sauce

Total Time: 21 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 6 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh prawns, with shells deveined and cleaned
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup sherry wine
  • 4 green onions, chopped
  • 1 piece ginger, chopped (thumb size)
  • 6 tablespoons oil

Recipe

  • 1 mix soy sauce, sherry, sugar, green onions and ginger; set aside.
  • 2 heat oil in frying pan until hot.
  • 3 stir-fry prawns for 4 minutes or until all prawns turn pink.
  • 4 add sauce mixture; bring to boil.
  • 5 serve hot as part of a chinese meal.
