Shrimp & Garlic W/ Wine

Total Time: 18 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 8 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1 1/2 lbs large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • fresh ground pepper
  • 1/4 cup dry wine
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons fresh parsley
  • parsley sprig, for garnish

Recipe

  • 1 in a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter. add garlic and saute 2 minutes. add shrimp and saute until shrimp turn pink and curl, 2-3 minutes. season with salt and pepper and remove to a warm platter. add wine and lemon juice to skillet, bring to a boil, and boil for 1 minute. reduce heat, return shrimp and parsley to pan, and heat through. transfer to serving platter, garnish with parsley sprigs and serve at once.
