Gingered Shrimp

Total Time: 3 hrs 5 mins Preparation Time: 3 hrs Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 1/2 lbs medium shrimp, cooked and peeled
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons chopped ginger
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons apple juice
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 -3 sliced green onions

Recipe

  • 1 heat the soy sauce to boiling.
  • 2 stir in the ginger and simmer about 5 minutes.
  • 3 stir in the vinegar, sugar, juice, and salt.
  • 4 pour the mixture over the shrimp and refrigerate 2-3 hours.
  • 5 sprinkle with the onions before serving.
  • 6 alternatively, use uncooked shrimp and marinate as above before grilling.
