Gingered Shrimp

Ingredients

- 1 1/2 lbs medium shrimp, cooked and peeled
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons chopped ginger
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons apple juice
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 2 -3 sliced green onions
Recipe
- 1 heat the soy sauce to boiling.
- 2 stir in the ginger and simmer about 5 minutes.
- 3 stir in the vinegar, sugar, juice, and salt.
- 4 pour the mixture over the shrimp and refrigerate 2-3 hours.
- 5 sprinkle with the onions before serving.
- 6 alternatively, use uncooked shrimp and marinate as above before grilling.
