Shrimp Casserole From Naples

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb shrimp, cooked, shelled, & deveined
  • 1/2 lb mushroom, sliced
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 5 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon best quality soy sauce
  • salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • 1 tablespoon paprika, hungarian & sweet

Recipe

  • 1 put shrimp in a buttered shallow baking dish just large enough to hold them all in one layer. sprinkle with salt & pepper.
  • 2 sauté the mushrooms in 3 tbs of the butter until browned, then transfer to a bowl and toss with the flour. stir in the sour cream, 5 tbs softened butter, soy sauce, salt & pepper to taste.
  • 3 pour the sauce over the shrimp and sprinkle well with the cheese and the paprika.
  • 4 bake, uncovered, in a preheated 400 degree f oven for 10-15 minutes.
