Shrimp Casserole From Naples

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 1 lb shrimp, cooked, shelled, & deveined
- 1/2 lb mushroom, sliced
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 cup sour cream
- 5 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon best quality soy sauce
- salt & pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, freshly grated
- 1 tablespoon paprika, hungarian & sweet
Recipe
- 1 put shrimp in a buttered shallow baking dish just large enough to hold them all in one layer. sprinkle with salt & pepper.
- 2 sauté the mushrooms in 3 tbs of the butter until browned, then transfer to a bowl and toss with the flour. stir in the sour cream, 5 tbs softened butter, soy sauce, salt & pepper to taste.
- 3 pour the sauce over the shrimp and sprinkle well with the cheese and the paprika.
- 4 bake, uncovered, in a preheated 400 degree f oven for 10-15 minutes.
