Miami Barbecued Shrimp

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 lbs fresh medium shrimp, shelled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon minced onion
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon old bay seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon medium-hot paprika
  • tabasco sauce, to taste
  • salt
  • fresh ground black pepper

Recipe

  • 1 preheat the oven to 325°.
  • 2 in a big bowl, combine the shrimp, onions, and garlic and toss well.
  • 3 add the remaining ingredients and toss until the shrimp are well coated.
  • 4 arrange the shrimp in a single layer in a large, shallow roasting pan and bake about 20 minutes or until the shrimp turn pink, turning them over once or twice.
  • 5 transfer the shrimp to a large platter and serve piping hot.
