Shrimp With Beer

Ingredients
- 3 lbs shrimp, peel on
- 5 garlic cloves, peeled
- 6 whole allspice
- 1 dried red hot pepper
- salt & freshly ground black pepper
- 1 bay leaf
- 6 sprigs fresh parsley
- 2 sprigs fresh dill
- 1 (12 ounce) can beer
- 1/4 lb butter
- 1/2 lemon, juice of
- 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
- salt & freshly ground black pepper
- 1 garlic clove, lightly crushed
Recipe
- 1 combine ingredients (to and including beer) in a heavy saucepan and cover. bring to boil and let simmer 2 minutes. remove from heat. serve with lemon butter.
- 2 lemon butter: in a small skillet, heat butter until hot and almost bubbling. stir in remaining ingredients and serve.
