Shrimp With Beer

Total Time: 10 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs shrimp, peel on
  • 5 garlic cloves, peeled
  • 6 whole allspice
  • 1 dried red hot pepper
  • salt & freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 6 sprigs fresh parsley
  • 2 sprigs fresh dill
  • 1 (12 ounce) can beer
  • 1/4 lb butter
  • 1/2 lemon, juice of
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • salt & freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 garlic clove, lightly crushed

Recipe

  • 1 combine ingredients (to and including beer) in a heavy saucepan and cover. bring to boil and let simmer 2 minutes. remove from heat. serve with lemon butter.
  • 2 lemon butter: in a small skillet, heat butter until hot and almost bubbling. stir in remaining ingredients and serve.
