New Orleans Bbq Shrimp

Ingredients

- 7 lbs large shrimp
- 1 cup real butter
- 1 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup chili sauce
- 1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
- 2 lemons (sliced thin)
- 4 garlic cloves
- 4 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon parsley
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 2 teaspoons oregano
- 3 teaspoons cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon tabasco sauce
- 1 tablespoon liquid smoke
- salt and pepper, to tast
Recipe
- 1 wash the shrimp well. you do not need to peel the shrimp.
- 2 spread shrimp out in a baking dish.
- 3 combine all the ingredients in a saucepan over low heat. let simmer for 10 minutes, then pour over shrimp.
- 4 mix well and refrigerate. baste and turn the shrimp every 30 minutes and let refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours.
- 5 preheat oven to 300 and bake for 30 minutes. turn the shrimp every ten minutes.
- 6 i like to serve this with a good french bread to dip into the sauce.
