New Orleans Barbecue Shrimp

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 4 lbs unpeeled shrimp (6 lbs with heads on)
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup chili sauce
- 1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
- 2 lemons, sliced
- 4 garlic cloves, chopped
- 2 tablespoons creole seasoning
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon ground red pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
Recipe
- 1 spread shrimp in a shallow aluminum foil lined broiler pan.
- 2 combine butter and the next 12 ingredients in a sauce pan and cook over low heat stirring until butter melts.
- 3 let cool to room temperature then pour over shrimp.
- 4 cover and chill 2 hours turning shrimp every 30 minute.
- 5 bake uncovered at 400 for 20 min, turning once.
- 6 serve with bread for dipping.
