New Orleans Barbecue Shrimp

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 4 lbs unpeeled shrimp (6 lbs with heads on)
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup chili sauce
  • 1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
  • 2 lemons, sliced
  • 4 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons creole seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon ground red pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce

Recipe

  • 1 spread shrimp in a shallow aluminum foil lined broiler pan.
  • 2 combine butter and the next 12 ingredients in a sauce pan and cook over low heat stirring until butter melts.
  • 3 let cool to room temperature then pour over shrimp.
  • 4 cover and chill 2 hours turning shrimp every 30 minute.
  • 5 bake uncovered at 400 for 20 min, turning once.
  • 6 serve with bread for dipping.
